Like Facebook will disappear soon

Social media platform Facebook is ready to make some changes. Let's say that Facebook is testing to hide like count from posts. App researcher Jane Manchun Wong posted this information on Twitter. According to Wong's post, social networks are testing this feature on the Android app. Right now the trial is underway and it has not been made live for any user.

The company says that it is going to conduct this test on users soon. This is likely to affect the likes and reactions of the feature on the post too. In April, Instagram was also tested in Canada for hiding likes from the post. Later it was also launched in Australia, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Japan and New Zealand.

During the announcement, Facebook said that it wants the attention of the follower to be on shared photos and videos and not how many likes have been received. Depression, sadness, loneliness and loss of self-esteem are decreasing in the race to increase followers and likes. Like counting Hyde can improve the mood of the user.
