China has created anti-drone laser weapons to combat terrorism. It can distinguish low altitude, slow speed and small aerial targets, including drones. Experts say it can help the police and the military in the fight against terrorism and air defense. China's Poly Technology Inc. has showcased this laser weapon called 'Silent Hunter' in the International Exhibition of Weapon Systems and Military Equipment (KADIX 2018) from May 23 to 26 in Kazakhstan.
Military expert Song Zhongping said the anti-drone laser weapon could soon be included in the military for air defense. It will help the police too. More than 400 companies from 55 countries participated in KADIX 2018.
